in more ways than eight, the UK is lagging behind the rest of the developed world

Examples:

• un-mixed hot-cold water taps
• no electric outlets in bathrooms
• they still drive on the left because “if someone passing you decides to attack, you can fight back with your dominant arm”
• they spend energy making the process of queueing more organised, rather than spending the same energy on making the services people queueing up for more efficient
• etc.

But I still like it here :)
